Well, 1st issue for me is I\'m ordering a 5th rim this week, and will try to get a spare...but that might derail any plan to attend this trip.

If I can manage to get a spare...Will aCB be ok, or do I need a radio to handle other frequencies?

on public events like this one, it doesnt matter if you have a radio. a CB radio is required for members only functions, but for whispering pines it doesnt matter. if you dont have a cb and have a walkie talkie you should bring it.

what size tires are you running again? 33s? im sure someone on here has a rim and/or spare tire they would be willing to sell you. post something in the classified \"looking to buy\" section and see what you come up with.

CB\'s are a very good thing to have on the trail.  A few of our members such as my self carry a 2nd portable to loan out- because it really helps at times.

I\'ve got one \"brand new\" 33x12.5x15 MT with Green Diamond still wrapped for $50 if that\'ll save you some $.  I was going to use it for a spare.  Just sitting in the garage.
