Is this meet only for members?  I\'d like to start some wheeling and this looks like fun.

Scooter, you should call treadwright, paul said theyre working on a set of 37s right now. usually they are 1/2 the cost of reg tires and hold up just as well.
my tires are 31x11.5x15s

In regards to the safety reqs, I have front and rear tow points, spare tire, stock \"jack\", passenger restraints (seat belts?), normal car battery, soft top(but has roll bars).

I could easily pickup the other things though I think.

Whats the difficulty of this trail?

WP is very stocker friendly for a good fun day of wheeling on most trails.  some of the bypasses, mud holes, and hill climbs will give a set of 35\"s and lockers a good time too.

We are kicking around the idea of joining in on Sunday.. will depend if I can get my u-joint replaced on Sat.  and a few other things.  I\'ll try to let someone know when I decide.  I will more than likely meet you there if I do.

mavr1k: make sure you have tow straps with NO metal hooks. they can break and hurt people.

WP is good for stockers i agree. who knows how it will be with the snow. if its too much for your rig we can always drive it back to the lodge and you can ride along with one of us. sometimes \"rig hopping\" is alot of fun...unless your riding with Smike in his CJ while its pouring out with no doors on it

Sounds awesome - count me in for now.  Would likely be bringing a passenger.  Hopefully my TJ can handle the trail, otherwise the both of us would need to hanging on someone else\'s rig ;-)

Guess I am going shopping for supplys tonight... how long will we be on the trail?

I\'m planning on going.  I got my proper-sized spare, and will be going out to get a Fire extinguisher this afternoon.
Might have a couple passengers...not sure at this time.

for the rear tow point...is a receiver hitch ok (using the pin) or would you like to see a shackle insert for it? (I\'m sure I already know the answer, and will be going out for a shackle insert also).

Hitch is fine.

Supposedly the pin can be bent by a strap around it.  I\'ve done some serious tugging with my Dodge with a strap on the pin and not had an issue.
