New place to go in PA, Feb: Blue Rocks Campground
« on: December 31, 2008, 12:38:22 PM »
This is about an hour south of Rausch Creek.  I\'ll be headed there with some Right Coast guys in early Feb.  We\'ll run there for a day and Rausch for a day and make a weekend of it.

$28 covers one rig and two adults with camping.

They apparently only have about a day\'s worth of trails, and only a few obsticles that will give the \"usual suspects\" a real challenge but I\'m down for the change of scenery.

I\'ll update this with info as things come together.

The List:
Mindless
Cora?
Erik?
Smike?
Ryan?

Just got off the phone with Jed, the one brother who runs the place.  He has an opening in February if we\'re interested.  However, from what time I spent talking to him there\'s only about a days worth of trails.  Plus the fact that there isn\'t too much hard stuff to do.  His rig\'s on 40s and he said there are only a handful of obstacles that give him a little trouble.

It\'s up to you guys.  Personally I only plan on being at Frosty Balls for one day, so it doesn\'t matter to me.  It\'s 28$ a day with camping included, and that includes two adults.  If we do decide to check it out I need a number of drivers ASAP so I can get back with him to schedule the run and get pricing as it may be cheaper with more people.

4.5 to 5.5 doesn\'t seem like that much to me.  anything 3-6 hours just gets shoved in the same category for me....
