mounted hi lift yesterday, and also called up the guy i bought it from and picked up a set of rear fender flares from him 40$.  Took the jeep over to show it off, he had mixed emotions and wished it was still his.  gave me a bunch of belts and some spair ujoints and new radiator hoses too, made it worth the drive.  Got home, gave the flares a bath and got them mounted, make the truck look alot better, more complete.

pretty close to complete for where i wanted to be for a winter jeep before the spring tear down and things start to get interesting :)

d@mn Jeeps with no headlight bell reminder... I have killed my battery 3 times since I bought it due to leaving the lights on at work.  Good thing I have a Yellow Top, it just keeps bouncing right back.

edit-
Yes I know I should have one.. it is just disconnected from when the doors were taken off.

pulled the heater box out tonight and cleaned it out, some nice bee nests and mud. made some changes and ducted in the other blower i had.  Seems to be better but not as good as i hoped. i supose it could use a new alternator and water pump, but im not sure i care that much.

after a few dead batterys, some jumps, a new battery, new alternator, and a second alternator from the CJ, she seems to be charging finally.  i guess autozone gave me a bad alternator, have to take it back or whatever.  also yesterday coolant decided to dump out so that required some new hose clamps and quite a mess.

thinking about taking free D60/D44 from an F250, build the truck, blow up the 44 and swap it later when i regear...  or i might bid on a D60/70 combo with 4.88\'s on ebay...

passed on the axles, 9\" difference in width too much for me to deal with.

Got a new 2ton cherry picker !

thinking im gona take the free 60/44 and start with those... also debating the 460 and C6..... not happy about autos but free is nice.

I like me a 460.  C6 is a stout trans too - bear RPMs on the street in mind with no OD though.

im more conserned about gears for crawling, ive never wheeled an auto.

streetable i think ill be fine with 42\"s with stock gears and no OD  :)

i could always throw the 460 and C6 infront of the 3 speed and D20  already in the scrambler which would make a 6:1 low Tcase :) awesome gears (but probably twist like a pretzal)

scrambler is parked nose out and in 4wheel low with its allweather cover already covered in snow tonight, i guess were supose to get between 16-20\"  im ready to play tomorrow.  cool!

New lift same color as the CJ.  cool!

What\'s the rest of the weekend plan?  I mean, there can\'t be much left before you have other axles to throw under it....

entire brake system from master cyclendar to pads/shoes is new... except two short hard lines from master to reused p-valve (the only vertical lines in the truck that were in good shape).

having trouble getting my F250, going to try next week.... my last two paychecks are siting in the savings account... dont worry....waiting for a quote for 5 of my IROK\'s  :)

i guess he has a back yard full of motors and axles and is a pretty cool guy but tends to get excited when some one has a cool project where his stuff gets used so he talks to fast... lol

im on it though... just have to convince my uncle to let me torch a truck apart and have his scrap guy take it away :)
