since im going for the least amount of cost :)  by chance i found a #1 pine in the #2 pile cause one of the corners was chipped so i got the 1\"x5\"x10\' plank for like 6$.... great for two 5\' rails...  used a round over bit for the outside corner, then a straight 1/4\" bit to cut the trim channel.  took some dark stain and a Q-tip to give the color, and lightly sanded off any over spill.  tonight i made the parts that bolt to the truck and hold the rails.  just gota get some more hardware and an hour or so more of daylight to get them mounted up.

just used pictures off ebay to get as close as i could to stock...

I\'ve had a trio of those grinders for at least 18 mos now, and a newer 4.5\" one too.  they\'ve not given me issue.  I like having cutting sanding and wire all at arm\'s reach.

whoo, she passed inspection.  and no more rot in the frame.  probably could have done a better job when i pull the tub in the spring, but its solid.

ya did the girl thing for 5 years or so... i figure im good free for another 5... she talked me into getting the CJ when it was in a heap.... so it wasnt all a loss...  maybe a house will slow me down in the near months... looked at 2 post lifts today on ebay    :) since i think i decided i just want to build a nice garage, with the house part just over it as a small detail...  :)

Anyways.... thinking about stealing the winch off the CJ tonight and mounting my highlift too.

en, cant decide where the hi lift should go... on the front, on the cage diagonally, on the cage horizontal... so many choices.  its nice to actually have room for once.  ill decide later.

some exhaust work and some patching of a small hole on the frame... the foot of really ugly stuff above both rear spring mounts i was in the mode of not taking pictures by then

my moms garage looks good with two CJs in it   (a little bit of red and orange peeking from the background in the one pic :-D )
