I\'ve always gotten my banjo bolts at Advance or NAPA.

I\'m damn close, I might stop by some weekend when my own projects are more caught up.

Mine will have a spare tire rack when it\'s complete.

Thanks Yukoneer, I guess I\'m not the only one crazy enough to make a 4x4 metro. It\'ll just be a little smaller with 33\" tires.

If I were you, I\'d put the metro back to stock and sell it for major $$$$

They are going like crazy now... thanks to the gas crisis

are you planning on cutting the fenders to have room to flex?

I\'m going to wait till I have a set of 33\'s before cutting to see what needs to be cut. More than plenty of room now with the 30\'s on it.

Got some 33\'s today!!

Guy had them on craigslist for $80. I picked them up this morning. Should have them mounted during the week and installed next weekend. They are courier? street 33 x 12.5 R15.

They will work until I get some money saved up for some muddin tires.

Steering shaft went on today. It works, but needs an idler bearing to sucure the shaft because of the extra u-joint.

I think the next big thing is figuring out the firewall. It\'s not going to be fun.

Pictures next weekend with the tires!

The tires!!

Makes the truck look small. :)

I flexed it out as good as I could with a jack, and not close to rub at all.

Got most of the vacuum lines installed. Fuel lines are installed. Next is waiting for funds for the mufflers, battery, and wiring. Also started fabricating the new firewall.

Exhaust is installed! Ran straight pipe to glasspacks.

I have a few items I was wondering if anyone had good ideas for:

1: I need about a 12\" length of steel pipe. 1\" O.D, 5/8\" I.D. I\'m using it to relocate the brake pedal.

2: Anyone know a place that works on drive shafts? I have 2 shafts that need to be shortened.

3: Anyone have a stock CJ bumper they wanna sell cheap?

(This list is completed!)

It\'s getting there, slowly but surely. gonna try in the next couple weeks to hook up the electrical and fire the motor.

Well, the project is in hybornation til next spring. Ran out of funds.

I did flex it out to take measurements for shocks. So they can be ordered when they go on sale.

Driveshafts will get shortened at Fleet Pride next week. I\'ll be selling 3 driveshafts that are stock. I can\'t sell them til I take all 5 to the shop and let them decide which ones to shorten/lengthen.

I plan to go to the meet in Batavia and bring the project with me, if anyone\'s interested in seeing the progress.
