I was over on WNYOffroad and was reading about this place:
http://www.4wdfarm.com/index.html.   Wasn\'t sure if everyone knew about it or not.  The place is definitely a little pricey ($129/vehicle + $20/passenger), but I\'m wondering if there would be room to negotiate better group rates.

ya i dont get it

seems like its a bit pricy- and same as WP trails- mostly forest runs, with a few good mud holes, and one short patch of rocks...

We chatted about this at the parade today.  This is worthlessly outrageously insanely overpriced.  _Maybe_ we can push for drastic group discounts but otherwise this is worth no attention whatsover.

I gotta believe they will start offering lower rates once they start checking around.  I thought Rausch Creek was around $40 a vehicle, which is a completely different level from this place.  I was reading on their website and I think the price includes breakfast and lunch.  They should offer a \"trail ride only\" price.

Wow!@...

Just looked over the site...Looks nice and challenging, but i wouldn\'t spend that kind of money for this type of wheeling...Besides, they are only allowing jeep\'s in there, which would take more than 1/2 our members out of this anyways...Not fair...Far as i\'m concerned, they can keep there 2yr project to themselves, or until they lower the price...

they set a MAX of 33\" tires and a max lift of 6\".......for the money you should be able to take whatever you want there. from a 4wheeler to a Dakota toolbox.

okay, now that I got that out of my system, perhaps we should work on a draft letter for an email campaign of \"I\'m only 2 hours away but you\'re not offering what I or any of my friends are looking for and your prices are 3x your competiton\"

yeah that might be a good thing to work on.  I also read that they have made presentations to some of the Syracuse area clubs, I wonder what their thoughts were.

I think they are looking for an elite group of offroaders not a bunch of experienced users who would most likely tear up their trails beyond recognition.
Remember the Valley Cadillac Hummers at Whispering Pines this is the type of client they are looking for lots of money and no experience.
So how do you keep out the riffraff? The guys driving their home built monster trucks, you charge $129 per day.

Hey...

Just another thing that we kinda didn\'t take into account here...

$129.00 per vehicle to drive your own rigs
$249.00 per vehicle to drive our rigs
$20.00 per passenger
$10.00 per child age 4 to 10
Infants 3 and under free
All prices plus 8% NY State Sales Tax

We forgot to add 20per passenger, plus 10 per child, plus onto of all of this is our famous 8% sales tax for a grand total of let\'s see here...

        Um..we go with 2 adult\'s...$129 + $20

                         say 1 child...            +$10

                        Sales Tax                      8% =12.72

                                                    ------------

                          Total for the day>>171.72

    What a great deal!@
                                                      John...

Joel...

if we go by what you were saying as far as getting the upper end client\'s there, they won\'t get them, do to the fact that the trails are too small for the bigger rigs, which these higher end people usually gravitate to ....Soooo...

                                                             John....

Your forgot to mention the $100 worth of gas to get there, wheel, and back....

But come on now.... you do get lunch, that has to be worth the money right there.

Unfortunately I won\'t be able to get my $175 lunch because my truck can\'t fit.

well I spend $200 in fuel and $60 in fees instead of $200 in fees and $60 in fuel, so...

I guess it\'s like trying to buy used cars or parts up here, all the halfassed rusty crap is still gold plated.
