From a representative of the park in regards to the meeting and goals of the park

There will be a ton of official information released to the public for the first time.

The design and engineering firm wants to hear from the users . ... What do you want to have in this OHV park ?

The County wants to hear from the people from out of the area .... What do we need to do to accommodate you ?

We are expecting some opposition to this project . The more supporters that are in attendance will make dealing with them a lot easier.

This is the first of two public meetings. At this meeting they will collect all the public input and apply it to the project. At the second meeting they will present the results of their findings.

We realize it\'s not easy for a lot of you who will use this park to make it here for this meeting on a Tuesday night. But that also shows how committed off roaders are to their hobby/sport. It says a lot when someone travels a couple of hours to attend this meeting.

The County Commissioners are committed to building a world class off road facility. That is WHY they have committed over 6000 acres to this project. We need all the input from you people that will be the users to accomplish this. We want to build what YOU want / need.

I\'m positive that anybody that attends will not be disappointed . We have a lot of information to release. I hope to see you all there. Barry

Thanks Cora.

Their meeting is opposite our meeting, and we\'d have to leave Rochester around 2pm to make it, it\'s a 2:15 ride at 225 mi (roughly)

I\'m getting info on a tour of the property they\'re doing Saturday the 17th that I\'m planning to go down for.  I\'ll let you know what I find and how many more could show up.

Cool, I also contacted Barry about the tour to offer our support/help.

I plan to make it to the town meeting, even though that means taking a day off from work and getting a hotel for the night.

If anyone else is willing and able to go, I strongly encourage it!  If ever there was a good reason to miss a club meeting this is it.  Thanks Cora.

I just got off the phone with Barry, we can have 1-3 rigs and however many people on Saturday.

we\'ll be tagging along with the PA OHV association executive board.  Leaving from a Shamokin restaurant between 10:30 and 11:00 for the trail head, and returning around 16:00 for recap.

trails will be 4x4 needed, scratches likely, no body damage, fullsize OK.  I guess I\'ll drag the Dakota down unless some cute TJs want to come down since it sounds like the dually won\'t fit.

I\'d love some company if anyone else wants to take a property tour and offer some input.

Barry was very excited to hear that you\'re going to try and make it down for the meeting Cora. Thanks again.

I\'d also happily accept offers to borrow a quad if nobody else has a day to spare on Saturday :)

I don\'t have a cute TJ, but Erik has a nice CJ. Can I grab a spot on the trailer?

the tour just needs a streetable 4x4 that\'s okay with brush pinstripes.

Smike is interested as well, maybe 571 and the street Jeep/Cora\'s Jeep on my trailer?

Dakota needs a ujoint, don\'t know if I\'ll have time to put one in tonight.

mine is not streetable, and I don\'t have a passenger seat in right now. streetable as in road legal? 571 doesn\'t have plates.

Drive down friday night or saturday morning?
should we camp somewhere saturday night?
Hotel?
What about the car show on sunday? I hate to bail last minute, but I think this is more important.
