welcome, there are many people in the club running Aussie\'s, and the owner of the company is also a club member.  Last that I knew there were NO known reports of broken Aussies.

though i do rather wish aussie made a 9.25 :( but all is well if all comes together next stop 4.10\'s

pretty sure the 8.25 29sp is actually out there in production.  I have not heard Bill say anything about the 9.25.  I\'d say something about it usually not being considered too desirable an axle but with the D44a Aussie existing, that\'s not too valid a point :)

ill let you know if there is a broken aussie tonight.  i just locked my CJs D44 gear set up at 35MPH to a dead stop in about 18feet and the shafts and aussie felt like they held up.  Havent opened the diff up yet, but i bet she is still fine :)

in short i love my aussie.  road manors are a bit on a short wheelbased CJ5 with a manual tranny the way i drive, but it works after getting use to it.

i dont pay attention to directions about checking clearances and what not, so thats probably why my is very loud, and my lockrite in the front feels like a welded diff that never unlocks.

im waiting for the 60 aussie too, rumor had it a 10.25\" was going into eriks superduty for testing?  :)

killer i\'m pretty sure that is what\'s going in the front end of the beast, i really do wish that there was a rear just cause of the price cause i\'m cheap and poor to boot... but i do have my eyes on a 9.25 axle on flea bay and i all reasy have a spare front i can get my hands on so now i just need to man up and start buying parts and find at least one other experienced person to help me tear them apart and get new 4.10\'s and what ever dual wheel driving aparatuse i have back in there...
