I\'m out, I need to figure out what I\'m doing about fixing my front end. My sister backed into it. Yay.

I can get some aftermarket body panels and stock bumpers.

Let me know what you need.

Troy, Keith and I are going to start to fab a front bumper for my XJ, if your intrested, you could get in on it and we could build two.

Bumper is tweeked, into my fender, fender is ripled and bumper end cap is scratched up a little. I got an estimate to fix fix for 1300. My sister would be paying for everything, definetly interested in fabing a bumper instead of stock replacement. I might just have the fender fixed and have her give me some cash to work on a bumper.

Do you guys have any ideas on cost to fab one and what plans did you have, winch non-winch?

still up in the air about winch or not. im planning not to do a winch at this point. I believe that if i had a winch it would be used more to get other rigs unstuck, and I dont feel that I need to have one.
if you wanted to put a new bumper end cap on, i have two perfect ones painted black with fusion paint and they look mint. let me know if you need them.

Will do about the end cap. I think I would rather go with a fabed bumper. When are you guys planning on getting going on this.

Should probably move this conversation to another thread.

Why not add a front receiver instead of a place for a winch (since you don\'t want a winch anyway).
That way you can add a winch when you need it, and leave it out otherwise.

unless pulling in a straight line (never happens), its not good to pull from a reciever.

anyone coming to wp, make sure you have good tires, mud doesn\'t like street tires

I would like to attend. It will be my first event. I am the guy with the new Rubicon Unlimited (from Tuesdays meeting).

Do you think that my \"stock tires\" can handle it? Who do I pay? Do we meet there?

I bought a CB, a rear hook for the trailer hitch and a 3\" x 20\' tow strap. What else do you suggest?
