« on: September 05, 2007, 10:38:48 PM »
Now here`s the scoop.

I`ve been told 50/50 that...

you can run an aussie locker in a dana 30 on the street.

So many people said you can and so many people said you can not...

SO WHATS THE DEAL?

yes or no

THANKS!

However, now you have planted the seed of doubt.  Bill gets on here every now and then.  He should answer this.

absolutely yes.  I run a front locker on the street with my hubs locked all the time.  Without the front driveshaft driving, that locker will stay unlocked and you won\'t even feel it.

We sell more Dana 30 lockers than any other model and they are very streetable.  Now having said that we always tell those customers who ask about handling on icy highways, is not to drive in 4WD, with any front locker, on an icy highway unless you have manual hubs and one is unlocked.
