Politics, who is supporting us?

I\'m starting to think about who to vote for and I want to start a thread about who is supporting 4X4 issues.

Please keeps you opinions focused on 4x4 issues.

I know that there was one or more state reps who were helpful in the snowmobile trail usage and registration. I think there was another that helped with ATV issues.

Anyone have examples that they can remember?

As a general rule (not 100% of the time)...

Liberals generally are supported by \"green\" groups like greenpeace, and other radical groups who basically want to shut off any access to land by any vehicle that runs on gas or diesel.

Conservatives are generally more conservationists, not preservationists.  Responsible use of land, not keeping us from using the land we live in, and pay for.  The same fight goes on in the hunting world, too.

Notice I didn\'t use any party names, as I have found that too many times, people in a party are not true to the original goals of that party.
