I\'ve been wanting to get there for a while.

I\'m thinking dunes and Tellico for me this summer as long trips go, I\'m not sure if Badlands is in the cards or not.  Maybe if I can\'t get to Tellico.

I\'m still feeling out how $$ is going to work with the new job.  Semimonthly pay looses a lot of flexibility from having been used to weekly for 6 months.

Read through his entire post about it on the PAP forum and you\'ll see he isn\'t bailing on the east coast. He and Steph took this opportunity because they NEED an actual income. It will also give them a stronger base to fight from for a park out here. A lot of the problems they were having getting a park going in PA were due to not having an income. We all know banks won\'t give you any money unless you can prove you don\'t need it, especially with the credit crisis going on now. Also, owning another successful park will get them that many more contacts and a better reputation with investors, land owners, etc.

He also promised that none of the donations toward saving Paragon or starting a new park were used in the purchase of the Badlands, that money is still dedicated to a park in PA.

This will be a good thing for the north east in the long run.
