no rips that i can see... put in corbeau seats or i would still be using them.  I like this color better than other wrangler seats i have seen, not sure if its because it is the Rubicon trim ?? but I like the darker color.  seats need to be cleaned a little, still have slight dirt from last wheeling event.  still mounted on factory brackets.

I'd say I prefer the '03-'06 seats better than the earlier '97-'02 seats.  If replacing in a TJ, be aware that they sit an inch or two lower.

mounting points are same, the newer Tj's had a higher mound in floor than the earlier Tj's making the seat height difference, can easily install on older tj's mounts.

I wonder if they'd sit lower in an XJ to help with my freakish height issues...

I'm surprised you haven't already dropped the brackets in there, Josh. Unless you already have?

I have already, but you can only drop them about half an inch because of the transmission tunnel. Unfortunately the WJ leather seats had to go because of the height issue. I haven't decided if I'm gonna go back to my original seat, or spring for a custom sized suspension seat that can handle my size.
