Oil Presssure Switch Failure
« on: October 09, 2013, 10:21:12 AM »
My dealer in South Africa has a 2003 WJ with V8 and  has had his share of technical issues.  He sent me this note on his oil pressure switch failure and I was wondering if this is something that is common, and if so, any suggestions on how to resolve it short of keeping a large supply of switches on hand?

That Mopar oil pressure switch you procured for the Jeep and for which you went out of your way to get, has failed after just a few months.

It's doing exactly the same as the last one in that when the ignition is turned on only it immediately registers.

Thank you for any suggestions.
