Sure thing. I sent you a pm last night saying it would be fine as well. I'm probably going to get there around 10ish.

Hey,

I'm a newby Jeeper and I would like to get involved in some local clubs and trail rides, could you tell me more about this whispering pines place? I found it on google but I still have a lot of questions.

You just missed our yearly 4x4 101 event!

WP is private land that has dirt trails, hill climbs, mud holes, and a very small rock garden.  It is wooded acreage and has quite a few miles of trails.  If it has rained, it will be pretty slick.  If it is dry, stock street tires can handle nearly everything.  Others can add...

Oh no! Looks like I just missed the monthly meeting too, and it is only a couple miles from my house, and I was probably sitting at home doing nothing!

Best go through the gallery to see the mix of vehicles and obstacles. Overall, always a blast; definitely on the simpler side of things.

What questions do you have? Also, feel free to check it out this Saturday with us.

Thanks, maybe I will come out this weekend. I've got a 98 TJ with 2" lift and 32" MTR tires. Will I be able to handle it all?

I agree with Smike, make sure you have some sort of winch in the group

Have that plus a 6k... it's been enough to get the rover unstuck in the past.

and in my opinion, the TJ will be fine.
