How to straighten a bent tie rod

While not recommended in any way, here is one lazy man's way to re-"straighten" a bent tie rod...




Not perfect but somewhat straighter...

I prefer to stick one and in a cheesy stock bumper and watch trunks pull on it until he about goes ass over teakettle on Rock Creek!

It's more HD than the stock unit.  It's the V8 GC "upgrade".  Solid shaft vs. hollow tube.  Otherwise, there would be no re-bend and re-use...
