WTB 15X10 4.5" OFFSET RIMS

im new to fingerlakes 4x4 glad to be a part of it... lookin for some offset rims for my 2000 xj sport... 5" rough country suspension short arm, 2" drop transfercase, sye, open 8.25 and open dana 30 :/... cold air w straight pipe... mickey thompson 35x12.50's... no front or back swaybar ;)... but i just picked up some thornbirds for cheap and i need offset rims any help is much appreciated... also while im here just curious is what i need to go up another 2"... would prefer suspension over body... and it would be great to convert to a long arm... thanks!

You'll be happier with 15x8 wheels.  Better bead retention, better sidewall flex.

Standard 3.5" to 4" offset should be easy to find.  Are you trying to push the wheel/tire combo outboard or keep it snug?

^ agree. 15x8 wheels will be perfect for those tires

unfortunately, you cant really go higher than 5" on short arm. it gets expensive to do much more than that. and isnt really needed.

since the cherokee is a unibody, your only option is suspension lift.

I have some rims i could let go for $150 they are 4 black stealies  with black lug nuts. about 3.5 or 4 inch backspace

Thanks for advice wingman and spencer... ya wasnt thinkin when i said body lift knowing that the cherokees are unitbodys lol... if i got longer arms and different shackles would that help give me more flex? and s0l0ithz if the rims arent bent you prolly got a deal... got any pics? thanks!

 from the pic they dont look offset at all... could be because of the size of the pic on my phone too but  lookin for a 3.5 to 4 inch offset... 15x8 to 10...

There is a large difference between backspacing and offset.  I even used the wrong term in my post.  For that, I apologize.

Backspacing is measured from the rear bead lip plane to the center mounting flange.

Offest is measured from the wheel centerline plane to the center mounting flange.

You should get a wheel with zero offset or four inches of backspacing.

What Tom has is standard fare and should be perfect for your application.  Unless you want your wheel/tire combo to protrude extremely far outboard and you enjoy replacing wheel bearings, etc.

Thanks again wingman! checked the rims out and their exactly what i been lookin for... definatly a perfect rim for the tires that im puttin on em... thanks tom for hookin me up!
