Ryan and I both showed up thrusday night to prerun the course friday morning with Mike and Matt codriving. Both cars made the 14 mile loop without issue. The course was realitivly easy other than the cluster i new would happen going down, up, down devils den.
We missed the prequal and opted out of it.
i drew last up in Ultra class starting by myself, Ryan started a few trucks up by him self as his pair didn't make it to the line in time.
We cracked the oil pan and noticed a ticking motor 2 miles into the 2nd lap- stopped dead and was winched into the trailer. we were running hard and doing well. Time splits say we passed 11 cars in the first lap starting from the back of a field of 28. Very disappointed we didn't keep it together.
Ryan and Matt had tire issues and blew the front ring and pinion mid lap 3. They were doing great!
we saw a lot of great cars and had a great weekend. Thanks guys and gals to all the help that came down we had a group of 12+ by Saturday night
