Anybody up for doing somecruise nights?
« on: May 15, 2012, 08:38:09 PM »
Hey all, I know I havent been around long, but I was wondering if anybody was interested in getting together for a couple of cruise nights, now that the weather has broke and appears to be nice now. I know we get together once a month for the club meetings, but I thought I'd throw the idea out there. I just think we need to get out while the weather is great. Any thoughts or ideas would be great....Thanks folks.

We used to have a decent group that went t Henrietta Abbots and Charlotte Abbots on alternating Wednesdays...

We've done some Wegmans cruise nights.

Back in the day we'd get invited to the big Street Machines show too.

Whatever you're into, post up! Lots of new faces in the past few years, who's interested? Many of the core members have gotten sidetracked with fresh pups, racing, side jobs, etc... lots of the club activities have tapered off as a result. I encourage anyone to grab reigns and throw out cruise nights or car shows that you're interested in. I'll absolutely make it if I've got the time.

After all, the Eagle is almost worthy - I was feeling guilty bringing the Dakota to shows the last couple years.

I would definitely be interested.  Calkins wegmans would be a good one or Quaker Steak and Lube in gates.

does not need to be street legal.. Can usually just park a truck and trailer nearby.

Okay cool, sounds like it would go over well. What nights would work for most of you? I have a pretty open schedule from now until June 15th, as I'm out of work for my shoulder. To be honest, I'm not great with planning events, but I don't mind chipping in to help out. I'm just up in Gates, so whatever I can do let me know and we can get things rolling. Might be a great way to recruit new members also.....with more exposure. They could join at the cruise nights if they want.

I would be interested in pretty much any cruise night that doesnt involve Henrietta, just seems everything this club does is Henrietta based and I dont care much for driving out there
