Hey guys, my name is Matt. I'm native from the Boston area, but at school at RIT and thus a good chunk of my life is now spent up here in Rochester. I've been into Jeeps ever since I was twelve, have owned three and currently still own two. My primary is a 2001 Grand Cherokee (my other Jeep is a 98 XJ). She's sitting on 3ish inches of lift right now from Old Man Emu HD coils, Bilstein 5100 shocks, IRO links, full skids, ARB front bumper and a C4x4 Fab rear tire carrier. She was sitting on 32s (off of a Sahara JK) till those went bald so I was forced to leave them at home and go back to my old stock tires. I'll be coming back in August with a brand new set of 33s though!
I'd love to get involved as I really do believe in responsible wheeling and Its embarassing how little offroad my Jeep has seen since I've moved to college. I would enjoy hanging out with others who share my "obsession" and whilst I may be the younger guy I come from a family of seven so I have no problem being mature about family oriented events and the likes. Look forward to hearing back from you guys and showing up at the next club meeting. If somebody wants to shoot me a PM with the address that'd be awesome. Cant believe you guys used to meet at Gander Mtn I'm within spitting distance!
Maybe you have seen me attempting a Jeep wave at you around the area on the way to Wegmans on Calkins or the general Henrietta area. I also am doing the Wednesday night Log cabin car shows but my Jeep won't be there as I go with a buddy who has a more, errr, street oriented vehicle. Anyways, here are couple pictures of my Jeep.
