Silverado Lift Kits?

Hey guys, I have a friend just looking for a bit of advice on what to buy for a lift kit. New Silverado half ton, just wants a cheater (spacer) lift. 4 inches or less. I've researched the crap out of Jeep stuff, but have absolutely no knowledge of pickups. Any input would be appreciated!

Matt on rock mod put a level lift in his silverado, might want to ask him.

the Chevy IFS is a beast of it own.. if your looking for cheap, you will probably only be looking at a 2-3" body lift.. any type of suspension lift for those gets expensive real fast. I don't recomend getting the 3-4" torsion bar keys and rear lift blocks. you asking for blown up CV shafts with those. 5" lifts start at about $1500 and go up from there. I havent checked much on the 2011 stuff but the 2006 stuff was WAY to expensive in my opinon. Let us know what your friend decides to go with.
