95 yj 2.5 5 speed fuel pump question

buddy has a 95 yj 2.5 5speed. he started his jeep to warm up. started fine, he went inside. came back out 10 min later and it had stalled. tried starting it and it turned over fine but wouldn't fire up. I went looked at it and the fuel pump wasent grumbling when I turned the key on. replaced the pump and nothing! damn! checked the relay its good. soooo computer??!?

Check the ignition coil, spark plug wires, and distributor.

remove the relay jump the terminals to run the pump and then put the relay back before starting
