i ran 2" on my CJ5 with no issues on a trail rig.

i also ran 2" on my Dodge dullie cummins tow rig for a short time with no issue.

buy a good brand, and check them frequently for tightness.... and you wont have any issues.

I just had a customer call me tonight and ask about my recommendations for spacers... i told them id be cheaper to do it right with steelies from summit...

I used them on my Tj for a while this summer, had them come loose, but hadn't lock tight them the first time i wouldn't have had a problem

I've been running 2" for a  couple of years on my trail rig just fine.  All Toyota guys run them as solid front axles are 3" narrower than 86+ rears.
