New Forums software

We have upgraded to SMF as the forums software.  I am sure there will be issues. So post any problems you encounter here.

For club members, I did not figure out a way to import your club member status, so we need to enable you individually. PM me if you don't see the members only forums.

As of a few minutes ago, my password wouldn't work with tapatalk. Anything different I have to do on there?

tapatalk will not authenticate. You need to set your password in SMF. The imported one does not work. I believe you cannot update your SMF profile, because of the bad password. I can set it for you and then you can change it

Weird. I see you both have club member rank.

I'll have to check the permissions on that forum when I get back to my desk.

That's correct you cannot change your own smf password - it's initialized and exists but is for practical purposes random until its reset. Smike and Eric I'll take care of yours later and text you both.

I changed mine from what it was reset to and locked myself out of the Xoops side. I need to test that and see if it was a fluke or something to watch out for.

This password resetting is something that we need to worry about for admins an tapatalk users. Nobody else needs to worry about it.

Looks like it was a fluke, I changed my password a couple more times and it seems okay.  It's very easy to reset your Xoops side password yourself from here if anything breaks, you just need to know your registered email address and a reset link will be mailed.  Please to let us know if it does.

Quoting seems broken for me - anyone else?

hmm.  Mine just doesn't process.  sits with "Loading..." at the top, and doesn't fill in when I open a relpy page and try to add a quote either. I'll have to try some other browsers and boxes.
