Law enforcement is serious business but cops can\'t take their job too seriously all the time.  There are countless opportunities for being light-hearted.  And sometimes you can\'t help but laugh at some of the outrageous people you deal with.  You\'ve witnessed some of the winners on those shows...

I don\'t think I\'d want to meet one without a sense of humor...

Thats hilarious. It\'d be even better if they a video from a dash cam!

One of my friends is a local cop and the other day he was after someone for speeding and they pulled into their driveway. The person got out of the car like everything was cool and he wasn\'t in any trouble. My friend told him to get out his license and registration and the guy said \"but I\'m in my driveway, you can\'t ticket me!\" So my friend replied, \"What do you think this is, Tag? Your at home so your safe?\" He was still laughing to himself as he handed the guy his ticket and drove away.

He\'s always got great stories of the stupid human tricks he sees on a regular basis.

I just saw a dashcam video of the other side of the coin from South Carolina.  I\'d have not dealt with this too well....

Yeah no kidding. Hopefully that video made it into a court room and that guy is no longer a cop. I also watched the other taser video on there, hopefully that guy lost his job too. I\'ve got a ton of respect for cops and what they deal with on a daily basis, but some people just shouldn\'t have that much authority.
