Anyone got a SWR Meter for matching CB/Antenna.
Would like to borrow for 5 mins or buy if needed.

Not sure if I should throw this thing out and get new !!:banghead:

i have never used one of these things.  any CB i have ever had or installed works fine for about the first year, and then corrosion kills the connections.

You\'re funny! :-)  How about a rental fee of $5?  That I\'m willing to do...

Otherwise, like smike said, it wouldn\'t be worth it to me.

:lol1:

I was gonna up it to 75 (CENTS)

Picked it up a little while ago and will bring it to Rausch with me.
We\'ll \"pass it around\" and get it back to Paul later.
Checked out my CB and , I was right, it\'s a piece of crap but will do for now.

we\'ll see if my antenna still wants to talk after I tried to take it off on a tree a couple weeks ago.....

I have a built-in SWR meter on that set, I\'ve been meaning to compare it to the standalone SWR meter I have that tells me my setup in the Ram is beyond hope (SWR of 3.5 I think, at best, gets as bad as 5 or 7... with no shorts and no opens) even though it\'ll get out a mile or two on the road.

my anemic CB could probably benefit from SWR meter test.  It would be nice to be able to talk to those I can hear a little more reliably.

Thanks for the use of the meter.  I tried it out while at RC and I think there is more going on than just a needed adjustment.  I left things the way they were.  Returned to Raddadd.

my CB in my tow rig works flawless with Radadds CB, so once again, I AM NOT THE PROBLEM

For what it is worth, i could hear mike in the dakota crystal clear on Marks CB, but he could not make me out or understand my call to him when we were split up into two groups.

I\'m confused.

Dakota to Mark is good (up close)
SRW wonder to Mark is no good (at a distance)
SRW wonder to RadMike is good

I never fired up the dumpbus CB in the group on the way back, its SWR sucks but I got a mile plus out of it with TT Justin before.
