We have a dealer outside the USA that is looking to purchase some Jeep parts from this aftermarket supplier.  Has anyone in the club had any experience with them?

Here was the message.  Ari says they carry them so I will contact him.  I did not know they would be a stock item.

This particular beast shows faults 54 & 56 which indicate blend door failure which apparently all Cherokees of my era suffer from.
The following mail is from a blend door manufacturer/supplier who make an aluminium door/shaft combo along with competitors Blendor and Heater Cheater. He\'s also the most reasonably priced of the bunch ans his business seems to be soley dedicated to the Jeep Grand Cherokee market.

Those are not worth it in my opinion. I would fix it right, its not that hard. I have done a few and get the parts for around $200 I think. The newer replacement parts have been fixed so it does not happen again.

He can try the band aid fix, but I have a feeling he will be doing it again in a year or so.

Its really not as hard as people make it out to be. Just takes some time, about 4 hours last time I did it.

Ari,

Thanks for the supplier and part number.  Your guys on Mt. Read were very helpful and had the part in stock.  Yes, under $ 100 and we have advised the customer.  Now he has a couple of options.
