Wow how tragic. And I am sure it will give the BLM more reasons to close down access.

They certainly had to scrape the bottom of the barrel for their closing quip about \"a string\" of accidents.

Terrible news. I guess it answers the question always on my mind when I see the crodws parting right in front of race trucks at Baja: nothing good happens if something goes sideways.  

Definitely leaves me concerned about impacts to future use of public land for organized speed events.

Pretty overwhelming, on the whole.
