Looking for wheels for a 06 TJ.. What should I look for in a good off road wheel? Recommendations? My first thought was the Rubicon Stock Moab wheels but for the price there\'s got to be better options out there, Right?

I kinda like these but don\'t exactly know whether or not this could be a good option http://www.4wheelparts.com/partLists.aspx?plID=3361&w=2112-21

On a side tangent researching tires gives me a headache and this site http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Tires/Maxxis_Creepy_Crawler.htm has become an addiction to my time online  :hook2:

I believe the 06 tj is just like mine and i rub my 31s on the lower control arms at full stop with my stock canyons. I have gotten use to it so i don\'t turn the wheel all the way but if you want 12 in wide tires you are going to have issues. I would look for a wheel with more backspacing. i may be mistaken but i believe the backspacing should be like 4.5 - 5.0 to get 12 in wide tires without wheel spacers.

Id suggest these...
http://www.quadratec.com/products/product_search.php?mn=Black+Rock+Wheels&b=s&sv=200

I put them on a customers 08 JK and was so impressed by the thickness of the steel and the overall quality of the wheel for not very much money at all. I bought a set for my Street CJ7.

I know one of the other members really wanted a set for his buggy as well because of how impressed he was with the construction. However almost all the center caps came damaged in the boxes. FYI

But dont steal my wheel style...you have to get a different set!
