Hey ya\'ll just moved to the Rochester area from Seneca Falls. Looking into groups in the area. I haven\'t quite gotten use to the idea of not having places to wheel and cover my ride in muck, having moved from Alabama where I could cover my trucks in mud on a regular basis. My current rig is a 2009 Rubicon that I have a ton of things on the wish list to \"improve\".

It great for daily driving got plenty of room for whatever may be needed, groceries, kids, moving stuff. On board navigation and sat radio and can be set up for hands free operation plus bluetooth capabilities for phone w/optional mic. some of the features on the radio get locked out while the vehicle is in motion which is a little annoying but can be circumvented with an after market mod. It gets decent gas mileage for its size, 17-22mpg. Its a surprisingly quiet and smooth ride on pavement and off road being that it has a longer wheel base it handles a lot different that the short wheel base of the prior models. I guarantee though that if she does wind up getting one she\'ll end up taking it off road to play in it and she won\'t be disappointed.

That\'s the plan. I want nothing less than 37\" tires and a nice long arm kit: ) it will be our fun adventure vehicle as well as my daily.

keep checking the calendar for public events & rides.

to gain access to the members only events you need to join the club. Its easy, everyone is welcome. Just show up to a monthly meeting (last tues of every month @ Gander Mtn. Henrietta) $40.00 per year gets you sticker, T-Shirt, access to the members only section of the forum which contains Member bio pages, members only ride and event info as well as membership discount information with suppliers national and local such as 4WD Hardware
hope to see you at a meeting and on the trails!
