Yes we do!

Hey, thanks to everyone bearing with me last night. This head cold / chest cold is kicking my butt.

What a great turnout for a meeting.

Hope I didn\'t talk too fast for everyone.  I had a lot of material personally and knew we had a lot besides me.  I know we have logos to deal with now, but I\'d also like to see some Association discussion soon.  It really is too bad about the Association Trail Ride scheduling over Big Dogs Icebreaker.

I think last night was a very positive move for the future of this club. Thanks to everyone who voted!

Logos are next, as is website. Do we want to get a temporary web logo up ASAP?

How long will it take to transfer the website to the new domain? Not sure how hard this is.

The Board is discussing and dealing with the logistics of the needed changes.

I\'m asking/poking because I would like to use fingerlakes4x4, not mudnuts.org on the 4x4 101 event flyer.

We need to transfer before the flyers go out to the public, or we will have people visiting mudnuts.org looking for info on the event for the next 3 months

Well the plan was to keep mudnuts.org working, the site will just go by the new name. (Since it was paid for in advance) so searching flx or tmn will take you to the same site. How long to keep paying for mudnuts.org is another question.

I say we keep paying for mudnuts.org forever to keep anyone else from stealing it and to keep any old links atleast partially viable(take them to the fingerlakes4x4 home page)

agreed.  domain names are cheap as dirt to continue registration.

I also agree.  We are a DBA now and don\'t want pilferage of our parent name.

Regardless of what vote is made for logos, i think i will still ask to use one of the ones cora came up to put on the side of my trailer :)

should we try another online vote and get one of the top three on the flyers to get 4x4 101 rolling?

I realize I\'m not a member (yet) and hope I\'m not stepping on toes here, but is common when businesses purchase another successful brand or name that they incorporate it in their own for a period of time. A permanent FL4x4 logo with TMN say in a corner or something and phase it out slowly, an unnoticed change.

Sorry Camo1Ton, I thought I was in a members only forum. I totally appreciate your comments, though. I moved my comments to a more appropriate, members only forum. I don\'t want to bore the registered users with our logo banter.

The important thing is that we have changed our name, and with that, our identity!! Promoting a positive image for a sport with a not so nice stereotype is what we are all about!!!

Hope to see that CJ out again soon!!

I think what Camo suggested is a great idea for both the website and the 101 flyers.  FL4x4 logo with \"formally TMN (insert TMN splash)\" or something like that would be great way to transition the name.
