Glad to hear RITOR had a great time! I hope the challenge was sufficient!

Very glad to see all the hearing impaired drivers and passengers that participated. It was a very unique experience for me to guide a driver who is deaf!  And I\'m glad to have had the experience!
I hope everyone that attended had a good time. We hope to see all of you next year!

I wanted to send a Thank You to the Finger Lakes 4x4 team for putting this together.  It was my first off road event and surely not my last.  My daughter and I had a blast!  Every time our team stopped for a  break we began throwing mud at the YJ behind us...the mud never ends with us  hehehe :-)

I have to send out a \"WOW\" to the guy in the red Cherokee who brought the bagles for the convoy....AMAZING work!!!

I know the carnage trophy was already awarded, but this may earn runner-up...

I went out to start my Heep this morning and after it fired up, it began gushing (no exaggeration) oil.  Did some trouble-shooting and found that the oil filter gasket blew.  Trekked to the parts store and picked up another, threaded it on, refilled the crank, hit the key, and...

...it did it again.  This time I noticed that the oil filter was deformed like a can of soda ready to explode.

My unofficial diagnosis thus far is that the check valve in my oil pump is stuck.  So, I get to pull the pan and replace the oil pump.

Yea! :banghead:

Ouch, Mark.  that\'s a rough one.

Did you see your oil pressure gauge pegged on the high side? If not, I\'d be worried about a plugged passage, but I hope it\'s not.

It wasn\'t at all.  In fact, it will idle without spewing but as soon as it\'s throttled up a bit, pop!  Gauge didn\'t move from normal.

When I parked it, all was good.  Didn\'t pound on it yesterday, and it was never submerged...

All taken by either a 7 or 12 year old, sooooo if you want anything you may have to crop and rotate and enhance and color adjust and remove windshields/mirrors/half faces (plenty of fingers) etc. But it\'s still better than I would have done.
