poker run
« on: November 22, 2009, 02:43:30 PM »
My club is planning on putting on a poker run from our property in Bath, and I am here to see if any of you peeps would be interested. We plan on doing it in Feb. either the weekend before or after Valentines day. We mapped out and drove the proposed route today, it would be @ 40 miles, on paved, dirt, and seasonal roads (mostly dirt). There are possible alternate routes around the seasonal roads (if yer scared! :D ). It would be the same cost as our playdays ($10pp), it would start and end at our club property in Bath, and our property would be open for play during and after the poker run. I am lobbying for cash prizes (depending on turnout), we will see.

We will be on public roads ....so street legal is a good idea

So please let me know what you think, and if you would be interested in joining the fun.

 thanx, Jason

Thanks,

I\'m with smike.  I\'ve never participated in one and don\'t fully understand it.  Some explanation for us please.

But what else do you do in the middle of February?

As etk300ex said, we will have checkpoints set up along the route where you will stop and grab a card, and at the end the best hand wins. We are gonna meet in a couple of weeks so I will be able to get more info on prizes. We will provide each vehicle with a map and directions so bring a navigator, LOL! The route we have planned has all types of roads and some awsome views. We plan on running the route as a club the day before to make sure its all passable, cause if we have/get a lot of snow some of the roads could be gnarly.

Also as i said he property will be open for play during and after the run.

Since the run starts and ends at our land you could unhook there, and I am sure people will be there playin as well.

Me and the wife would be in, this would fall just after the honeymoon. I\'m gonna need some snow after a week in Hawaii! LOL.

Of course it is all going to depend on ryan, if we can get this new frame under the Jeep. Don\'t worry Ryan, I was going to let you know about this project. LOL.
