Well, it\'s been a nice week of sunny 85+ degree days.
Last Saturday was the 4th annual Jeep Jamboree at Airpark Jeep in Scotsdale/Phoenix AZ.
There were over 200 Jeeps and over 400 people registered for this event.
I flew out there sept 30th and drove my dad\'s stock 2008 Wrangler X for this event (he was co-pilot).  Over 40 miles of trails, a poker run, and food, a live band, and vendors back at Airpark when we were done.
only got a few pictures, but I\'ll be uploading video over the next week or so.

Partway in, some of the tamer trails:

Me at one of the poker stops (no, that\'s not my dad\'s Jeep):

My dad in front of his Jeep at the Widowmaker:

And a pic of the Widowmaker (he didn\'t want to go up that):

It\'s a major difference between AZ and NY.  Not just in climate, but in how they feel about offroaders.  if NY would make extensive trails for offroad use, there would be TONS of tourist $$ in the budget.  Instead, NY decided to drink the Insurance Co koolaid so we get nothing.
