ok, as the car dealer of the group I feel that I should comment now...

the cars program isnt all bad...yes, ive seen some trucks that made me cry that they are getting scrapped, but if they were worth more than the 35 or 4500 that the govt is giving for them then they would just be normal trade ins.

were selling a bunch of vehicles under this program and YES! its alot of bullshit paperwork, but at the same time...were in the business of selling cars...so I suck up the extra paperwork and keep on selling.

its a GREAT program if you have something thats bad on gas and isnt worth much, it can help you get into something new that you normaly might not have been able to fit into your budget.

*the CARS rebate is ON TOP OF any other incentives that might be in place for whatever vehicle youre looking at buying.

for more info please feel free to call me directly at work

I like my niegbors but I don\'t want to buy them a car with my tax money that should be going to close the defict no increase it. It is a ill time program that is spending money that the goverment dosen\'t have, and will be taken out of us in the future. Same with the heath care thing, BUT thats a whole nother arguement

and I agree with some of that. BUT!...if the govt wants to help you get into something thats good on gas BEFORE they raise the gas prices again, then im all for it.

Lightening things up a bit. ...

Cash 4 Clunk is bad because the JK Rubi gets 16 MPG and the unlimited Sahara gets 17. If it got 18 well then I\'d sell out my ideology like RUN DMC selling 1 800 yes credit!  My xj would be gone and I\'d be rolling in my 4 door wrangler.
