I don\'t like deleting a/c for OBA.  My a/c doesn\'t even work in the Dakota and I\'m still not sacrificing it.

TJs are a little tight to fit two compressors in though, if I\'m not mistaken.  But I think Brian Rowe did it on his XJ so that\'s really no excuse.

AC would really be nice to keep.... Also mike is right, however, you would have to weigh the pro's and con's of each versus how much they would be used to sacrifice the AC

yeah.. AC might have been nice yesterday on the way home, just because the d@mn top is so loud(I need to get a TopProp).  But besides that I really have no use for AC.. I don\'t know prolly have to check it out with Sara before I go taking the AC off of her(if she gets her way) jeep.

that may be a given,(but we did sorta talk the same after last years NorEaster and see where that got me)

But I am still going to sell the YJ if I get a chance, it needs to much work.. I actually had 2 e-mails about it this weekend, one guy is coming out sometime this week, and the other wanted to trade a full size Bronco.

I talked it over with Sara and she agrees, OBA would be much more useful than A/C!!  Still will be on the long list of future projects though.

Aaron,

I got a portable air compressor from one of the on-line parts stores and it is adequate for pumping up tires after a run. Cost $70 and sits nicely behind the drivers seat.  Next is the air down thinges.

I don\'t know about the \'98 TJ, because I think they rearranged things under the hood a bit, but in the \'97 you can put a second compressor down where the tension adjuster pulley is (in fact, that\'s where the stock compressor goes in later years). I suspect that if the compressor is down there, you could put one up where the compressor in the \'97 is and make it work. Me, I just carry a CO2 cylinder...

yeah you can, but then the costs go way up, I was just looking for a very cheap alternative.  I like the CO2 idea, but I am already running out of interior room because I will have 2 kids in booster seats in the back.

If you want to look at mocking up a York I\'ll have one in a few weeks but I\'ll be hot to trot to get it installed if I can squeeze it in somewhere.
