Anyone going to STPR in Wellsboro, PA?

I went down and did 4x4 sweep 2 years ago, didn\'t make it last year.  three other club members went down as HAMs last year to help out on Net Control.  They are planning on going again this year.  I have the time off work but I\'m still undecided.  If I go I\'ll probably take the Jetta and marshal.

Wellsboro is about an hour from me so I\'m close. Not sure if the Jeep is up to the trip, seems that the years of sediment in my tank finally made it\'s way up to the fuel filter (easy fix) and carb (time to upgrade anyway).

Still this being so close I\'ve gotta ask what\'s the scoop? Haven\'t heard of this event before... enlighten me.

BYW I\'m a ham too so maybe I can help in that respect if we\'re free that is. When is this?

They\'re far from ricers... they\'re real race cars.  And, they have special rally tires, that are just as tough (or tougher) than the ones we use on rocks.

Though, they are kinda lacking in the suspension travel department, tend to tear up stuff when they re-contact the earth.
