RC in the summer...
« on: April 17, 2009, 07:05:28 AM »
It looks as if I wont be able to make my old clubs RC summer event due to a stupid family beach vacation...
I ran into paul yesterday and possibly voiced this to him..
But i would be interested in organizing a three day trip down to RC, perhaps a joint venture with my old club as well. (to get some bigger numbers so we can have two-three groups depending on adventure level)

I would be looking into getting some sponsors for prizes, group rates at the hotels etc..

Just a show of hands who might be interested...
I know there is a 4th of july trip.. but thats a lake day in my book...

Date as yet to be determined... but i was thinking a Fri-Sun gig...

We go to RC once a month. Check the our calender, yours and your club\'s to coordinate.

3 of our RC trips this summer are also on a RCRocs competition weekend. Don\'t know if you have friends competitng, might be a good weekend to go down as a group.

we go down for three day weekends pretty often in the summer.  watch out for the RCROCs comp events, a number of us are occupied those Saturdays, but I know many plan to wheel friday and sunday those weekends myself included.

July is totally open on my calendar right now....  I\'ll just be settling in to the new house, I hope.

I see June 13th is the next RCROC completion. I assume  there are a bunch of people going down for that event but I haven\'t seen a post on it yet. I was wondering what others were planning as I would like to go down Thursday night an wheel Friday Saturday and Sunday, but need to let work know I am taking the time off. Let me know what anyone else thinks.

I\'ve already got 6/12 off from work, so I\'m planning to do that.  we\'ll see how that works with my closing dates and moving and all that jazz though.
