Alright... well I will crawl under it again later and look at the rear pumpkin.

While I won\'t be able to purchase the tires for a few more months... would it be silly to put the lift on anyway?

I imagine I will need the services of someone like Ryan, as I do not have a garage... so Ryan_25, how busy are you? :)

@Wingman - any pictures of those rims?  And how much do you want for them?

$150 with chrome center caps

Cragar 5-spoke

Ran for about one year, paint 95% or better, chrome caps cleaned up OK.

If you want real pics,  I can dig them out.

I can make time whenever you get the lift and are ready to put it in.

Well, this is all I can see on my rear pumpkin:

43225
261   4
rev k
02 27 97

Is there something else I should be looking for to see the gearing?  Couldnt find any \"tags\"

sounds like the tag is MIA. next thing to do is the rotation test. how many times does the driveshaft spin for 1 revolution of the tires. might not be exact but will give you a close enough idea. other option is to open up the diff and count teeth.

Damn.  I don\'t own any jack stands to lift up the rear to do the rotation check.

if it\'s an open or limited slip, lift one tire and divide by two.  it\'s easiest if you mark both before starting.

Yeah theres some \"decoding your VIN\" websites if you Google... but they dont seem to show the gearing.

I have requested the original build sheet from chrysler, but who knows how long that will take.

you should start a post in the \"project build\" forum. just remember to take lots of pictures as you build

@GTJake yup I think I have all the info I need to start doing my mods now...  if only cash were the same way.

@Wingman 4 rims or 5?  Can you bring them to the club meeting next week so I can examine before deciding to buy?

Too bad treadwright seems to be out of stock of every 33\" tire at the moment.
