The new shop
« on: January 17, 2009, 08:42:01 PM »
This is not a project vehicle but it is a project.

As you all know the roof on my shop collapsed from the weight of snow. It happened the Friday before Christmas.

I was very lucky that the things in the barn were not damaged. I had a customers 62 Willys wagon it there. It was not touched. Non of my tools or equipment was damaged. It could have been worse.

I decided to rebuild the shop the same size but with a taller ceiling. It is now 14\' high.

You can see where the peak used to be and where the walls goto now.

Today, despite the cold weather, a bunch of guys came over to help set the trusses. Thanks to all of you who showed up to help. I know it was cold and you guys did a great job.

I will post more as the job continues. I hope to have it done in another week or so.

There has been a lot of work done on the shop. It is almost finished.

I should be back to normal by this weekend. I plan to get everything moved back in this week.

Thanks again to everyone who came out and helped me.
