Show Update: Meet Ivan ‘Ironman’ Stewart

Meet legendary off-road racer Ivan ‘Ironman’ Stewart at the show. Stewart is the most decorated off-road racer and holds numerous records for wins and is the founder of Protruck Racing Organization, a ‘spec’ racing series creating a level playing field in off-road racing. Stewart will be at the Magnaflow booth on the Manufacturer’s Midway throughout the weekend.

Baja Racing in Carlisle!
Join the Crew from Muddy Run Raceway

Tying into Ivan Stewart, the show will have the crew from Muddy Run Raceway at the show to host some off-road racing. We will have a mini-Baja track set up on our Autocross track near the turnpike. This will be a looping course with three jumps that we’re told will launch the trucks 10’ up and 30’ out; you don’t see that every day!

Monster Truck Show & Rides
Fun for the Entire Family!

Monster Truck Show & Rides – this is a kid and adult favorite. You can sit in the grandstands and watch as the giant trucks crush the tiny cars below or catch a ride in the bed of the ride truck and experience the thrill yourself.

ROCK CRAWL
You will see a whole new set up for the 2008

The rock pile keeps getting bigger and better each year and this year we’ve already talked to Rausch Creek Off Road Park to see if we can push the envelope again. You will see a whole new set up for the 2008 show; the new set-up will involve spray concrete allowing for a higher vertical climb and will push the trucks to the limit. Don’t like being a spectator, grab your truck and crawl your own path through the rocks (we’ll still have the easy path)!

The Chrome Shop Mafia
The team behind the most innovative Big Rigs!

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past two years you know the crew at 4 State Trucks known as the Chrome Shop Mafia is the original team behind the hit TV show about tricking out big rigs for deserving owners. The CSM has attended All-Truck for the past two years and 2008 will be no exception. Their fans come out and make them feel very welcome in Carlisle. We thank you for making them feel at home and keeping them coming back. This year we hope to have a nice showing of trucks they’ve built on and off the show.

Lawn Mower Racing on Sunday
PA Lawn Mower Racing Association (PALMRA) Will Hold a Sanctioned Event

Lawn Mower Racing will also make its All-Truck debut. The PA Lawn Mower Racing Association (PALMRA) will hold a sanctioned event on Sunday, August 10. This is open to all mowers from stock to highly modified to compete in nine different classes. Not a member of a racing association, no problem, the PALMRA can get you set up with everything you need at the show. And if you’ve always wanted to build a mower but didn’t know where to start, come to the Build Clinic Seminar on Saturday to see what goes into these machines. Anyone that wishes to participate should see www.letsmow.com to view the Rule Book. No Mower Blades, class structures and the like.

1UP, 1down
Sponsored by Skyjacker, Ground Force, and Family Ford of PA

For 2008 we’re planning on doing it all over again. Over the past two shows we’ve taken brand new trucks and transformed them into slick machines that some lucky owner was able to purchase new from the dealer with a warranty. Think about that…a custom lifted or lowered truck that didn’t void the warranty…that is great. For 2008 we’re planning on doing it all over again, we’ll take one truck and give it a lift kit and another truck and install a lowering kit, both will also get dressed with new wheels to complete the package. Maybe this year you should be that lucky owner!
