Day 1
I wonder if all my yearly vacations a destined to not go as planned? This is the third year plans have drastically changed. Today started early as most trips do but instead of heading to Mt Washington in NH we made our way to Letchworth State park. Slightly overcast conditions made for pleasant hiking conditions but not so pleasant for photography. Upon arrival we were told NO you can no longer go to the campground and get a site you have to make reservations online, and when you go online you are told NO you can not do a same day reservation you have to schedule 24 hours in advance and no it doesn’t matter there are a plethora of empty sites. So we spent the night at The Ridge Campground on a very secluded tent site. Dinner (Steak and grilled corn on the cob) was served 6:30 ish followed by watching a beautiful sunset. The Zodi worked to perfection for a warm shower and our evening ended with a small campfire before bed.
