OEM brand pilot bearing removal tool - Auto Zone loaner

Wingman:
I had a stubborn crankshaft hub on a little 4cyl engine that was mated to an automatic trans.  I had to pull this hub to be able to insert the pilot bearing for the manual trans to which it was to be mated.

I tried this tool from Advance Auto:


What a pile of failure!  Inadequate for any real job.  Decided to try Auto Zone to see what they offered.

They brought out this:



Worth its weight in "gold"!  If this was a job I did frequently, I would have kept it for my collection!

10 out of 10 for this OEM brand tool!
