that actually was about 5X more work that i anticipated. lol

intake, exhaust, balancer, flywheel, clutch, water neck, valve cover, alternator, power steering, water pump, idler, serp belt, passenger side motor mount, distributor and im sure alot more was all swapped.   doner motor was a TBI motor, this was a portinjected truck....

only common items was oil pressure sensor, and rear temp sensor.  EVERYTHING else had to come off.

took three tries after guessing but she cranked after i finially broke down and pulled a plug to set the distributor.

Runs good, took her for a spin around my work complex last night.  brakes and clutch good, bangs through all 5 gears like a 4cly2wd wonder!

nice truck!

and putting a port injectected truck back together that you didnt take apart is always fun!

Arie you can thank the seller though for leaving all the parts and hardware in relativity organized and complete piles- it really wasn't to bad, just time consuming.

Jim's a good guy..
not some random seller..
only thing wrong with the orignial motor is the head gasket blew and the #1 piston might need to be replaced..
