I have the Gaurd Dogs on my pickup.  It doesn't see much dirt, let alone mud.  Snow duty is pretty good but the Warden is better.  And they have a pretty good whine on the street.

Someone else, maybe GTJake, might have better info on the dirt/mud application.  I don't know how much he posts anymore, though.

For the amount I plan on using them the price seems right.
I've been looking at the Destination M/T. I had this tire when it was made under the Dayton name on my old F150. Also the Goodyear MT/R Kevlar....but the price is not so nice.

i would think a heavier higher hp truck you probably be better off spending good money on good tires  :)

The plan is to use them for offroad only and use the BFG's for everything else. I have a second set of rims so it wont be a issue.

A little follow up.
I picked up these tires before the Havoc In The Hills at Rausch Creek. We ran on the high speed part of the property and we did some of the slow stuff on that sunday. The tires held up good. I was not nice to the tires ;)

Then this month I thrashed on them in Texas. The tread still looks awesome. I wish they had more tread patterns for the size I run, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them.

very nice. I wish they had sizes up to what I run, I really liked that old MTR pattern.

How's the on-road noise?

When I ran that tread noise was not bad until the front tire wore down to the bars and was a little chopped.
