read through it, nice.

I\'m jealous of the access you have with no tub on it :)

and as soon as my damn dirty dodge diesel is up and running I\'m certainly in for the tub lifting party :)

I have a tow motor with extended forks...
but its always nice to have multiple sets of eyes lowering it...

pulled the Tcase and tranny last night.. kind of a step backward.. but need to do some seals before I button it all up

The JEEP looks great in person, and build thread is sweet.
Nice pics.
Larry at Custom Truck seems to have done a nice job on the body, are you happy with the work?

yeah it was just what I wanted..
it’s one color, looks great, and he blended my attempt at body work with his actual skill..

Update on the Drive train..

Transmission was shipped out yesterday overnight to SVE performance in East Haven CT.. I make a boo boo when I pulled the Tcase and half the tranny came with it.. instead of throwing it back together I am having Bill over at SVE do a quick rebuilt of the unit.. I should have it back Friday..

Of course now I am debating throwing the old D18 back in or having it rebuilt..
Funny how things snowball…

Ordered my harness yesterday from Walck\'s.. should be here by Xmas..
I will be alone from the 23-28th until I join my wife in Florida.. hope to get some serious work done thoes 5 days as long as I have parts..

Brakes bled, clutch work...

Overdrive backordered till middle of January so the body will go on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Well tcase leaks like a mother trucker... Unsure what exactly it is... I mean its sitting still.??

Have to work on pin pointing that in the next few weeks...
Until then I have been working on the harness and mocked up the body...

I came to the realization the other day tha this is a project...
I have a dd
I have a wheeler
I have a cool old truck
I have a plow jeep
That all run and drive and I enjoy...

I\'m not in the mad rush to finish this up as I thought a few months ago..
Just going to take my time and enjoy it...
I have seen how these kinds of things can consume life and I\'m not looking for that....
It\'s still in the back of my head, but I just took step 1 in the 12 step process.

More updates to come shortly.. I am in the middle of a few things that will be buttoned up..

I hate leaks.  oh, how I hate leaks.

I\'ve gotten pretty good at murdering them.  I actually have some on my own tcase I need to kill.  Sucks when they show up right away but at least you have great access with no body on it yet.

Make sure that its not someone in the shop pranking you. We use to drip oils under a bike after a service when things got slow in the shop.:)

random update...
Advance Adapters finally got all the parts in for the Saturn Overdrive..
should be getting one by April 1

So it looks this long term project will get a little attention in the weeks to come before its put away for a while..
It would be nice to button up the drivetrain before it gets shrinked...
