with a CV at the case, you need to have within a degree or two of 0 angle at the pinion, but since you\'ve been adjusting I\'m sure you know that.
How much side angle are you looking at from the offset pinion?
The only 8.8 swap I\'m particularly familiar with used a standard driveshaft, not CV, so the side angles cancel each other. if it\'s offset too far and you\'re getting 3+° to the left or right off the axle you might be stuck with some vibrations.
