Thanks to mindless, carchamealon,etk300ex, bdeely, and of course Corac143,the lift is in position and bolted down with some sweet wedge anchors from Fastenal.

After completing some long overdue projects of our own, Jokinen Motorsports has its next project coming in the shop. A sweet looking CJ7 from Georgia that\'s going to recieve a lift kit, and some other upgrades.
Thanks guys for the help.

Well I\'ve always wanted to own my own 4x4 shop, so maybe the close of BlueDog may prove to be an opportunity for me that I won\'t pass up.

I was interested in selling my services and my shop in the past, but didn\'t want to take work away from a fellow club member and a friend.

Maybe the old blue and yellow lift will be as lucrative for its new owner as it was for its previous owners.

Glad to hear about the \"Southern CJ7\" project. You\'ll have to get a shop cam going for a build thread.

lol Sounds good. :) I look forward to seeing them. What\'s getting the honor of being first on the new lift; the CJ7 or one of the other projects that you mentioned?

My work truck needs some TLC (95 F250)
Then my street CJ7 needs new throwout bearing.
Cora\'s CJ7 needs new oil pan, new radiator.
My CJ7 buggy needs new front hard brake lines, and install my new Advance Adapters Twin stick kit on the Dana300 T-case. (removal and open the case is required)  :(

I also have a 92 YJ that is for sale, needs some frame repair @ the steering box.

My brothers 98 TJ needs rear brake line replaced.

Cora\'s trailer needs bent axle replaced.

Then Georgian CJ7 Renegade Project.

Then maybe Bdeely\'s new YJ rebuild? (motor swap, waggoneer axles, lift kit, Wheels & tires.

Im going to be busy for while.

It chews up tires way too fast, they wear down to the belts on the inside edge. The unusual tire wear started after the Dakota got a lift home from rausch creek. The load ratings on the tires are correct for the loads we carry on the trailer.

i doubt the dakota did that, not much different than a CJ or a Waggy, or a 1 ton Scrambler....

id probably attribute it to one of the many curbs or ditchs i have seen that trailer be dragged over...

stupid questions:

check wheel bearings?
put it up on the lift and take some measurements?
check ubolts tight?
are they actually trailer tires?

-knowing erik, these things have been done im sure....

seems like that was a really nice, well built trailer from what i remember, bummer.

the tires are from TSC and the load rating is the same as every other 7k trailer tire ive seen

I have had a bent axle on one of my teams old enclosed haulmarks. It was from overloading. we couldnt travel more than 500 miles without changing a tire with that POS.

No one is passing blame. The trailer has seen some hard miles with some very heavy loads. Before I took the responsibility to maintain it.

The bearings are freshly packed, the u bolts are tight, I have not put a tape on anything, however when you tow it straight, you can clearly see the rear tires on one side and not on the other.

It has seriously worn a few tires tires in the last 3 trips.
including a blow out on the BeaveRun trip.
