Another Mike
« on: November 19, 2009, 07:21:33 PM »
hello everyone, Names Mike, I live out in the Attica / Bennington Area. Im currently building up a 1996 ZJ laredo i got for $300.00. I6, 42re, and NP242

onto the pics

I did an olive drab / herculined combo after i ripped that terrible body cladding off.

Fenders are already cut, and i have a HP Dana 30 out of a 95xj and a 1992 ford explorer 8.8 in my garage im working on right now.

Plans are... regear both axles for 4.56\'s
locker in the back
Rough country 4.5\" short arm kit.
Cut out the paper thin rockers and weld in some box channel or angle iron for real protection
ABS delete.(this is a trail rig, not a DD).

glab to be here, and looking forward to learning allot!

just FYI the 92 ford 8.8 is only 28 spline 95+ came with 31 spline axles. if your going to redo all of it I highly recommend the upgrade and disk brakes are your friend as well.

btw welcome :)
